Central American Modern Art

So, my birthday has the unfortunate tendency to occur AFTER my school's spring break on the calender; and I say unfortunate in regards to my parents (more specifically mom) not being able to see me on my actual birthday. But since I'm usually home the whole week before, they started having at least one outing of my choosing before I go back. Even though it was my 21st, I didn't really want to do anything because 1) 80% of my college friends had already had their break, and the other 20% were all in New York (I live in Mass): 2) Anyone who could've bought me alcohol was either broke or busy (or both).

Eventually - at mom's persistence - I discovered the Boston Museum of fine arts had a new exhibition featuring artwork by Central/South american artists, so I thought "what the heck?"
