Bridesmaid Me

Now some of you may be wondering "how are you so sure you're gonna be a bridesmaid one day?" Because I'm one of those people with a literal life-long best friend who plans everything in advance - and her wedding is no exception. When she told me another one of our friends and I were the top contenders for 'maid of honor', I jokingly said that she should just give it to Emily (other friend) since I wasn't sure I could handle an entirely pink wedding. Now you have to understand: I love this girl like no one else and always will  , but we are literally on opposite ends of the personality spectrum. She wants to teach at our old middle school- I want to visit as little as possible. She has her top five baby names (first and middle) all figured out - I cringe at the idea of having children (right now anyway). But the biggest difference between us is our feelings towards one thing in particular: the color pink. I used to completely abhor it and refused to even look at it, and it's only been in the last few years that I've deemed it 'tolerable', and in a very limited scope. She however, loves the color pink to death. Her entire bedroom is painted pink with dark pink molding and matching pink flower stencils, for at least 3 years, her wardrobe was almost entirely in just pink, and she has a personal pink fake Christmas tree that she keeps in her room "just because." So it isn't much of a stretch for me to guess what the color of her future bridesmaid dresses will be.   I only hope she doesn't go TOO overboard.
